There are a few things I want to point out about this article:
- Going into biological sciences isn’t exactly settling. I know physics is great and all, but it’s not for everyone. I (a man) switched from physics to biology because the culture of physics wasn’t for me.
- There need to be more sociologists tackling this issue.
- If a physicist is commenting on why women go into biology by citing “inherent” brain differences, that dude should probably shut up. I might as well claim his quarks are the reason he’s acting a fool for all the sense it would make coming from a bio guy like me.

Tardigrades, or water bears, can survive temperatures as low as −273 °C (−459 °F)and as high as 151 °C (304 °F). They can withstand extreme pressure, the vacuum of space, and 1,000 times more radiation than other animals. They can go without water for close to ten years.

A lot of the words I post that I learned are science words, especially biology and geology. Those are the papers I’m reading all day, go figure I don’t know all the words in them yet.
